JASON QIU 秋咏

Classically trained on piano since the age of four, Vancouver-born Jason Qiu began composing his own songs in his teenage years and spent several years performing with local bands. After a choir director remarked during an audition that his voice might not carry to the audience, Jason embarked on a solo journey—one that also became an ongoing quest to reclaim his confidence.

 

Fluently switching between original songs in Chinese and English, Jason seamlessly blends his classical foundation with contemporary influences. His heartfelt performances aim to bridge cultural and linguistic divides, creating a unique and resonant musical experience.
