JASON QIU 秋咏

Classically trained on the piano since age 4, Vancouver-born Jason Qiu began composing his own songs as a teenager and spent several years performing with local bands. After a choir director told him during an audition that no audience would be able to hear his voice, Jason began his journey as a solo artist, one that has also become a personal quest to rediscover his confidence. 

Fluently navigating between original songs in Chinese and English, Jason blends his classical roots with contemporary influences with his heartfelt performances to bridge cultural and linguistic boundaries.
